Stay at Little Village Retreat. Glamping without the fuss involved in Camping.
In 2024, a business consultant looked over all of Little Village Retreat’s Financial Reports; asked my husband and I 20+ questions; and forecasted that we wouldn’t last in business past December of 2024; unless miracles happened.
He was right.
Yet here we are.
So, what miracles happened to keep us here?
Well, Miracle number one is that we had some generous family members invest some of their personal money into keeping Little Village Retreat alive a little bit longer.
Miracle number two is that potential partnerships have come out of the woodwork this year to see if working with us would work and help expand our business opportunities.
One company wanted to put on wellness retreats and do Ketamine Retreats at Little Village Retreat.
One Company wanted to host girls camps for adults.
Two business partners wanted to add their own units to the property and join efforts to raise occupancy.
Two couples wanted to move Little Village Retreat over the mountain closer to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks East Entrance.
That’s a lot of potential for growth and partnership and while none of these opportunities worked out, it’s been amazing to meet people, network and have them dive into what it takes to run Little Village Retreat. Most of these potential partners were not prepared for the amount of time and effort that we put into our hospitality business, and that’s ok. We try to be extra.
Miracle number 3 is that we have seen how this place changed people. People stay here, rest here and move on different. They comment over and over about how it feels good, it feels different, and that they want to return.
Now, what an amazing list of miracles, right?
You will see though, that there is no miracle listed about actually making money, which is the miracle we thought we needed.
And lets face it. It’s still the miracle we are praying for each day. But that miracle isn’t happening.
In order to just make it through the 2025 Season we need 200 nights booked over the next 3 months. That’s over 50% occupancy.
In order to keep our business and stay in business next year, we need 100+ more nights booked this season OR NEXT season before the end of 2025.
It’s the miracle we are praying for, but I fear I lack the faith.
I have seen miracles happen each day since we started building Little Village Retreat, so why can’t this one?

So, I am asking for your help.
I do that a lot. I know.
But you are OUR VILLAGE. Over and over the miracles we have seen have come because of you.
We do not want donations.
We want to HOST guests.
We want bookings.
We love this business and it would be an honor to serve and help people that are staying here, but not enough people are coming.
